Perfecta’s award-winning cybersecurity team builds secure telecommunications and network solutions that support federal and commercial cyber defense operations.
Since 2008, our innovation-driven growth has made us a fixture on lists such as the Inc. 5000, and we have been recognized as a valuable partner by numerous organizations within the government community.
Our mission is to build cyber systems that make your world safe, and we hope you’ll join us.
Our headquarters is located just outside of Washington, DC in Springfield, Virginia.
Perfecta’s diverse team is made up of some of the best minds from the defense and IT communities united by a common purpose: protecting the United States from cyber threats. The stakes are high, the hours can be long, but at the end of the day we take pride in knowing that our work matters on the front lines of a struggle that is rarely publicized.
That is why we look for ambitious, mission-driven individuals who enjoy the challenge of developing and implementing cutting-edge ideas into innovative hardware or software solutions. We are continuously iterating and improving our solutions to help our customers meet the future’s threats with confidence.
Originally Perfecta Aviation, we were founded in 2008 when former U.S. Army counter-intelligence agent George Zoulias set out to build real-time, front-line solutions he wished he’d had during his tours in the second Iraq war.
What began as a two-person consulting business soon grew to include securing aviation-specific data communications in 2010. In 2013, Perfecta™ expanded to hardware by building a series of secure multimedia routers, which became the foundation of the company’s current secure infrastructure/VPN offering, Labyrinth™.
Perfecta’s secure communication innovations continue today with our most recent offering, Tirade™, a secure, unified communication-as-a-service platform.
Perfecta’s founder and CEO, George Zoulias, grew up knowing he wanted to do something bigger with his life. That feeling led him to join the U.S. Army in 2000 a few months after graduating high school and brought him to Iraq as a counterintelligence agent during the second Iraq war.
After seeing first-hand, the limitations of the tools and systems available to him in the field during a difficult and dangerous tour of duty, Zoulias founded Perfecta in 2008 to bridge the existing capability gap.
Since then, Zoulias and Perfecta have been recognized for a number of awards, including regular appearances on the INC 500 and 5,000 lists, Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500, Syracuse University’s Vet50, a number of Washington, DC-area government contracting awards, and as a finalist for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year award.
“There’s a quote by Picasso that I think of often,” Zoulias says. “‘Everything you can imagine is real.’ I’m constantly trying to come up with better ways to do things so that people can do their jobs more quickly and easily.”
